Grants

The following grants are available

Regional/Displaced Scholar Grant

ICCEES World Congress organisers are able to offer a limited number of travel grants up to £300 plus a fee waiver to subsidise scholars and postgraduate research students who permanently reside in countries in Eastern Europe and Eurasia on the DAC list qualifying for official development assistance (ODA) to present their papers at the Congress. If your country of residence is listed in any of the columns on this page then you can apply. Ukrainian scholars displaced as a result of Russia’s war against Ukraine are also eligible to apply.

(There will be a small number of larger grants available that are supported by specific sponsors)

Applicants are required to deliver a paper in a standard panel session (individuals serving as chairs, discussants, or roundtable participants are not eligible to apply).

Grant applications will be evaluated based on the intellectual quality of the paper proposal, with consideration given to achieving a balance across disciplines and regional representation.

Awards will be disbursed after the congress upon submission of a grant form and expense receipts.

All applicants must complete the online grant application form, including the paper title, abstract, tentative travel budget, statement of need, and CV.
